👩‍⚕️📝 Notes from the dietitian’s desk:

When it comes to health and wellness, we believe in getting back to the basics by providing the body with whole foods, daily movement, proper rest and choosing products that are not harmful for our bodies. Health doesn’t have to mean following an impossible fad diet or spending hundreds of dollars on the next wellness trend. Kaitlin helps us create customized comprehensive care plans for our patients.

Winter is the perfect time to explore a whole range of seasonal fruits and vegetables during your grocery trips. Spot something new? Toss it into your cart and try a new recipe! Diversifying your diet with a mix of fruits and veggies is a fantastic way to boost your overall health.

Eating fruits in season ensures freshness, better taste, and higher nutritional value. Seasonal fruits are typically harvested at their peak, offering optimal flavor and nutrient content. Additionally, they are more environmentally friendly and support local agriculture.

🍎 In-season fruits: Apples, avocados, bananas, citrus fruits, kiwis, pears
🥬 In-season vegetables: Beets, Brussels sprouts, carrots, cabbage, celery, broccoli, collard greens, onions, potatoes, pumpkins, turnips, winter squash
